Who we are
Matters2 Ltd (company no. 10274860, registered in England & Wales) runs Matters2 and this website, www.matters2.com. Registered office: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. We are the data controller for the personal data collected here. For anything in this policy, reach us through the contact form — it goes straight to the founders’ inbox.
What we collect, and why
The contact form. Your name, email address, optional company, and message. We use them only to reply to you. The message is delivered to our inbox as an email by Resend, our email delivery provider — nothing is stored in a database, and you are not added to any mailing list. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries people send us.
Guide access. Some guides ask for a work email before unlocking. Today that email is used to unlock the page and nothing more — no list, no follow-up sequence. If that ever changes, this policy changes first.
Booking a call. Our booking pages embed Google Calendar’s appointment scheduling. Details you enter in that widget go to Google to create the booking, and Google’s own privacy policy applies to it.
Cookies
No advertising or tracking cookies — which is why there is no cookie banner. The only cookie we set is an essential one on password-protected proposal pages, keeping the page unlocked for 48 hours. Your light/dark theme choice is kept in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to us.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregated: page views, referrers, and countries — no personal profiles, no cross-site tracking, nothing that identifies you.
Service providers
A short list of processors keeps this site running: Vercel (hosting; standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security), Resend (email delivery for the contact form), Google (Google Calendar powers the booking pages), and Zoho Analytics (the embedded demo dashboards, which show sample data only). Where a provider processes data outside the UK, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK IDTA or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep things
Enquiries live in our inbox as ordinary business correspondence for as long as we need them to handle your matter and keep sensible records. Ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to our use of it, and take it elsewhere. Use the contact form and we’ll sort it. If you’re not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top.
